In today’s episode, I talk to Joe Hawley a former NFL football player who played eight seasons and earned over $13 million. Joe has an insane story of actually making it to the NFL, but had so many ups and downs along the way.
It’s fascinating to hear a story of overcoming challenges and the unknown. He retired at 30 and gave everything up to live in a van and find himself. He’s done that and has a lot of wisdom to share with us.
You’ll enjoy 3 BIG things from this conversation:
- Behind the scenes in the NFL (including not having a backup plan).
- What to do when you’re not sure what to do next?
- How to rethink your limitations and abilities in life.

Also, he has a men’s support group for former NFL players who are transitioning to regular life called – The Hart Collective.
