In today’s episode, I talk to one of my best and most interesting friends, Nick Gray. He started a company called Museum Hack that did museum tours and then sold it. Now he spends a lot of his free time hosting cool parties in Austin, TX, and teaching others how to do the same.
Nick is probably one of the BEST party hosts I know. I went to many of his parties, and they are all amazing. Hosting a good event is underrated, but it often feels like a lot of work to put a party together. That’s why Nick decided to write a book on how to host easy lightweight events you can do regularly and meet awesome people.
His book The 2-Hour Cocktail Party just came out this week. Go check it out on Party.pro. And if you are listening to this episode the week it came out, you can literally grab a copy for only $1.99 this week.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn about how to make friends as an adult and host stress-free parties, then you’ll love this episode.
In this episode, you’ll enjoy 3 BIG things:
- Why the word “networking” has gotten a bad rep
- What is a Minimum Viable Party
- Nick’s favorite ice breakers to get the party rolling
And if you enjoy listening to the podcast, I would really appreciate it if you left a review on Apple Podcasts to help more people find out about it. I might shout you out in the next episode!
