In today’s episode, I talk to Robert D. Friedman. He is most well-known for being the co-founder of, one of the largest real estate auction firms in the United States.

Rob is definitely one of those guys that learned more by doing than by sitting in a classroom. He started an auto repair shop at the age of 19 making $100k/year, and then he used that as a springboard to start many other business ventures, mostly in the real estate industry.

Rob is also involved in various charitable organizations. And one of his proudest achievements is starting a school in Nicaragua called that educates bright, young girls in underserved communities. Go check that out to see how you can help.

You’ll love this episode if you’ve ever wanted to learn about taking risks and self-education.

In this episode, you’ll enjoy 3 BIG things:

  1. How to grab on to big opportunities by living below your means
  2. Why should more people consider getting a vocational education
  3. The importance of figuring out what makes you happy and working backward from that

And if you enjoy listening to the podcast, I would really appreciate it if you left a review on Apple Podcasts to help more people find out about it. I might shout you out in the next episode!
