I had the pleasure of interviewing Bryan Elliott, the host of the Behind the Brand.
He’s interviewed big names like Seth Godin, Gary Vaynerchuk, and yours truly.
Bryan used to be a well-paid brand marketer for NBCUniversal Studios — managing a $30 million P&L and walking the red carpet with movie stars.
He had the perfect job, but he was growing restless and wanted to create his own content…
So he quit his cushy job and started his own production company right before the 2008 recession hit… not the best timing when you have a wife, 4 kids, and a mortgage to pay.
But he made it through the 2008 recession stronger than ever and he’s worked on some really interesting projects since.
Make sure to subscribe and check out his YouTube channel, Behind the Brand.
Here are 3 BIG things you’ll learn in this episode:
- The benefits that building a personal brand has on your business, network, and overall sense of purpose in life
- How to build your minimal viable audience
- How Bryan convinced Seth Godin to speak at his event after getting turned down multiple times
If you enjoy listening to the podcast, I would really appreciate it if you left a review on iTunes to help more people find out about it. I might shout you out in the next episode!
Have a lovely daaaayyyyyyyyy!
