Phil Rosenthal is the creator of Everybody Loves Raymond — and Somebody Feed Phil on Netflix.
His Netflix show is one of my favorites right now.
In today’s episode, I talk to Phil about 3 big things…
- How he went from a nobody to creating a SUPER popular TV show
- What goes into creating a popular Netflix show
- The struggles of being “successful”
If you’re curious about creating a Netflix show (more accessible than you think) — or you want to move up in your career — you’ll like this episode.

No more show notes for eps NK?
ps. Loved this ep with Phil.
Thanks Man. Phil is a legend. The show notes are great but most people “seem” to not use them vs just linking to the guests site…
Great show Noah, you asked about what content we would like to hear? Well I like a variety of things from you like this interview and the casual style you have with the person that you are interviewing. It is also good to listen to your case studies where I learn a little bit more about how to become better at business (a lifelong learning event I must say). Finally, I like the inside tales from the AppSumo world where you keep it real and show us that your human and run a company like we do and are not afraid of telling the tales of your trials and tribulations.
Great tenets for creating — & maintaining — viewer interest. Thanks for sharing.
That was great. He’s so human and practical. I like him even more.
Completely agree Joe!
Got a shout out! Made my 2019 😉
